About Us

The Protégé Project is a youth mentoring  program that coordinates programming on behalf of the Edgewood Community Center with services for kids in the DC area. Activities will be developed for youth in the areas of academics, mentoring and sports.

The primary beneficiaries of The Protégé Project are youth boys in the age group of 10–14. In addition, the initiative will seek to build the youth development to its capacity, address current limitations, and/or improve its ability to meet program or organizational goals because it connects, serves and impacts the youth that are disconnected from their academics, mentoring, and sports.

Who We Help

The market is Youth Boys ages 10–14 at St. Thomas D. Moore or attending an academic institution in the metropolitan area of Washington, DC.
